Mitch Vigeveno- President & CEO

Mitch Vigeveno is the founder of Turning Point, Inc. and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Mitch has experience on both the insurance and securities sides of the business. He has been a life insurance agent and built a general agency for a mutual insurance company. Mitch has been a regional vice president for a company providing support services and products to broker-dealers. Prior to founding Turning Point, Inc. he was vice president of branch development for a major national independent broker-dealer.
Mitch received his BA degree from Brown University and holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). In addition, Mitch has been active as an officer, director, and member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since 1984. Additionally, Mitch is on the Board of the Wealth Advisor Institute (WAI) and a Consulting Fellow with Tiburon Strategic Advisors. Mitch is frequently interviewed and quoted in a variety of industry periodicals such as Registered Representative, On Wall Street, Investment Advisor & Investment News. |

Steve McQuinn - Vice President
Steve McQuinn joined Turning Point, Inc. in 2004 and has been an executive search professional since 1999. In his executive search career, Steve has completed numerous high-profile positions including: CEO, Chief Information Officer, Chief Credit Officer, SVP-Technology, VP-Internet Marketing, VP-Operations, VP-Engineering, District Manager, Senior Human Resources Manager, and many others.
Steve entered the executive search field following a successful four-year period as an Executive and Organizational Development Consultant for Florida Power Corporation (now Progress Energy) and Barnett Banks (now Bank of America). In those roles, his responsibilities focused on executive and leadership development, team effectiveness, development of performance plans, and succession planning. Prior to that, Steve spent 8 years with a subsidiary of Barnett Banks, where he had management responsibility for a 300-employee regional operation. Before joining Barnett, Steve spent 14 years with First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank), where he held numerous management positions in the bank's operations center in Tempe, AZ.
Steve attended Arizona State University and Eckerd College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management (With Distinction). He has been a resident of the Tampa Bay area since 1987. |

Bob Matthews - Vice President
Bob Matthews comes
to Turning Point, Inc. after fifteen years as Senior Vice President
and Regional Manager with Raymond James & Associates in
St. Petersburg, Florida. At one point, Bob was responsible for
all the offices outside the state of Florida.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Bob served in top management
positions with J.C. Bradford and Johnson Lane in the Atlanta
area, and was a top producer at Robinson-Humphrey Co. Inc.
Bob holds a B.S. Degree in Business from Clemson University
where he was on a football scholarship and was a Distinguished
Military Graduate. Later on, he served on the Clemson University
Foundation Board.
Bob has been active in the Florida Securities Dealer Association
and currently serves as an Arbitrator for the NASD (National
Association of Securities Dealers). |

Jason Burke - Director of Operations
Jason Burke joins the Turning Point Inc. team as the Office
Manager. Jason comes to Turning Point directly from working
with Societe Generale (SGCIB) in New York in the Human Resources
department. While at SGCIB, Jason assisted in the support of
the front-office business lines including Debt Finance, Corporate
& Institutions, & Equity Derivatives. Among his responsibilities
at SGCIB, Jason worked with managers in regards to their budget,
headcount, & compensation, as well as the processing of
New hires, Terminations, & Transfers.
Prior to joining SGCIB, Jason worked administratively throughout
NYC for such firms as Nomura Securities, Lowe McAdams Healthcare,
& W.P. Carey.
Jason holds an M.M. and B.S. in Journalism/Music from Indiana
University and has an avid interest in music, theatre, &
the performing arts. |
